CLOSED TEST
Test FlyScout before it reaches Google Play
FlyScout AI is in closed testing: the version our testers install is the exact build we send to production, and Google requires real installs from Google Play for at least 14 days before we can publish. It costs nothing, there is no subscription to start, and you can leave the test whenever you want.
What you need
- An Android phone (Android 7 or newer) with the Google Play app and a Google account.
- A few minutes today, then simply keep the app installed — you can use it as much or as little as you like.
- A valid e-mail address you control: FlyScout confirms new accounts with a six-digit code that arrives by e-mail.
How to join, in three steps
- Send us your Google account e-mail. Use the button below, or write to the support address with the subject “FlyScout closed test - add my Google account”. This is the address you are signed in with in the Google Play app — a different one will not unlock the test.
- We add you to the tester list (usually within a day) and reply. Then open the Play opt-in link on your phone with that same Google account and tap Become a tester.
- Install from Google Play and keep it installed for 14 days. Installing from the Play link is what counts — a sideloaded APK does not, see the note below.
OPEN PLAY TEST OPT-INSEND MY GOOGLE E-MAIL
NOTE The opt-in link only works after your address is on the tester list. Once the test is running, testers can also open the store page directly: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.flyscoutai.app.
What to try
Use FlyScout the way you would on a real trip, then tell us where it felt wrong. The flows that matter most for this test:
- Create an account with your e-mail, confirm the six-digit code and check that you stay signed in after closing the app.
- Set your budget and home airports, then swipe through the deals. Does the ranked price and the reason on each card make sense?
- Run Blind Weekend Roulette a few times with different budgets.
- Turn on a price alert and check the quiet hours and currency options in Profile.
- Open a deal, read the price history note, and follow a partner link to the end. FlyScout never sells the ticket, so the booking happens on the partner’s site.
- Export a story card from a deal and open the shared link on another device.
- Look at the PRO screen. PRO is bought on the web, not inside the Android app, so no purchase is needed for this test.
Sending feedback
Write to babacic52@outlook.com with the subject “FlyScout beta feedback” and include: your phone model and Android version, what you did, what you expected, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you have one. Anything broken, confusing, slow or untrustworthy is useful — a wrong price, a photo that does not load, a dead partner link, or copy that oversells.
Keeping the test honest
Testers keep the same account they register in the app. Notifications are optional and can be switched off at any time, and you can leave the test by opening the opt-in link and choosing Leave the test, or by asking us to remove your address. If you want your account and its data deleted afterwards, use flyscoutai.com/account-deletion. Prices in the test are real provider fares, not placeholders: they can change or disappear before you book, and the partner’s price is always the one that counts.
No Google Play?
You can still try the same build by sideloading the APK from flyscoutai.com/download/flyscout-ai.apk (enable “Install unknown apps” when your phone asks). Sideloaded installs do not count toward our closed-test requirement, so please use the Play link if you can.
